The Otter House - Wild view and King's Bay access!

The Otter House is located on a quiet canal in Crystal River surrounded by nature preserves and very few neighbors! Relax on the lanai or take the kayaks out for a paddle right from the backyard. Bring your own boat and dock at the boat house! Located at the South end of King's Bay you have easy access to swim with manatees, scallop in the Gulf and enjoy a secluded nature view that is also minutes from the grocery store and a short ride to downtown and restaurants! The space Welcome to the Otter House! We hope you find the house as relaxing and peaceful as we do! The house is located on a quiet canal off Kings Bay. Across the canal is undeveloped nature preserve so be prepared to see some wildlife! Manatees swim up the canal all seasons and an otter family lives up an off shoot creek! You can see a wide range of marshland birds including egrets, herons, osprey and many many more! Make sure you keep your eyes open. We have 5 kayaks that can seat up to 8 people and 5 bikes for all your outdoor adventures. A 5 minute kayak from the house and you can see a gorgeous Florida sunset on the water in King's Bay or even watch some dolphins herding mullet. We love to feel at home when we travel and have tried our best to think of everything you may need on your vacation. We have board games, books and movies. Fully stocked kitchen, spices, coffee filters and a crock pot. We hope you have the best experience in Crystal River and we strive to provide the best home base possible! Guest access The entire house is available for your use except the apartment off the garage. It has a separate entrance and will remain locked during your stay. We have a boat house for your convenience too! This is an easy way to get the kayaks in the water or dock your boat if you so choose! Our canal is affected by the tides so a deep hulled boat will be difficult to navigate at low tide. A pontoon or skiff 22ft or shorter is most appropriate for this waterway.
