Cactus Flower at Green Acres Ranch of Joshua Tree
Green Acres Ranch is more than a cozy place to stay... it is a work of art surprising its happy guests with beauty and creativity. The ranch has two separate cabins and is on acres of sweet sparse desert land near both solitude and civilization. Peace. Sun. Clean air. Wildlife. Starry night skies. The crush of the city fades as you enter the sparse, clean beauty of Joshua Tree in the California Desert. And Green Acres Ranch is the perfect place to settle in and call home as you unwind and rest. Two uniquely decorated and cozy cabins rest on over seven acres of breathtaking Mojave Desert scenery, surrounded by mountains, boulder formations, washes and wildlife. These are lovingly detailed works of art, surounded by unpretentious landscaping and the uncluttered beauty of the high desert. If you cringe at the thought of mundane and lifeless hotels, then come to a place that will actually inspire you. Green Acres Ranch surprises guests with its constantly unfolding beauty, simplicity, privacy and creativity. We are pet-friendly and within 5 minutes of downtown Joshua Tree, and just 15 minutes from the entry station to the national park. You will have your cabin, with a private area behind each cabin, full kitchen, common areas, and walkability to the edge of the national park in under 20 minutes. We live in Los Angeles, so we're a place for "do it yourselfers"... like coming home to your own house. You might run into CJ our caretaker angel though! What's nice is that you have conveniently close access to the highway, but aren't surrounded by lots of neighbors. And we love that you can walk 18 minutes up the dirt road and enter the northern edge of the national park. A car is necessary to get around. People often come stressed and leave in a state of peace. The two cabins are far enough apart where you never feel crowded.
