Tucked away in the Laurel Highlands Mountains, Yough Mountain House sits on 10 acres of land, one mile from the Youghiogheny River, two miles away from the small town of Confluence, and 2 1/2 miles from the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail. The space What makes Yough Mountain House unique is the amount of yard space and privacy one has. Guests are allowed to park vehicles, ATV's, trailers in the yard as long as they are careful to not damage the grounds or property. Guests can have camp fires, however, wood is not provided. Guests are allowed to put tents up in the yard for camping or small gatherings. Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire upstairs of the Yough Mountain House. The basement is only used for storage at this time, however, we hope to add additional space in the future. Other things to note Please familiar yourself with the door locks; it will seem unlocked from the inside, but cant be locked from the outside. If you should decide to use the hot tub, you will be charged an additional fee of $30 per night. The hot tub is a brand new 2025 Platinum Infinity hot tub with Ninety-two jets and will be available as of February 2025. It is expected when renting the hot tub for your trip that you pay for its use during each night of your stay. Guests cannot ask to reduce the number of nights they use the hot tub; guests are paying for its availability each night. In example, a guest cannot say they’re going to use the hot tub only four nights if they book 7 nights. The hot tub is available each night and is cleaned for the Guest’s entire stay. Guests must confirm or decline the hot tub fee. If the guests choose not to book the hot tub, it will be locked. If guests change their mind and decide to use the hot tub after their arrival, a $20 fee will be charged for the owner or Maid to come out and unlock the hot tub.
