Escape and relax just minutes from Houston in this 4 bedroom, recently remodeled home on a private lake. Use the canoe and kayaks to explore the spring-fed lake. Relax while fishing. Collect fresh eggs for your breakfast. Grill and build a fire in the large firepit. Pets allowed with approval. The space The home is situated on a 1-acre fenced yard with 450 feet of lakefront. Try your hand at fishing off the pier, take the canoe or pedal boat out for a relaxing tour around the lake, or use one of the kayaks to catch largemouth bass. All boats are available for your use while staying in the home. Build a fire to roast marshmallows in the evening, and listen to the sounds of nature while stargazing. The next morning, enjoy your coffee or tea on the deck while watching the sunrise over the lake. Collect fresh eggs from our chickens to cook for breakfast. The house is fully stocked with all you need for a small family gathering or quiet couple's getaway. Cook your meals in the large kitchen while visiting with family and friends in the spacious living/dining area. There is space for everyone. Kids can shoot baskets, ride scooters or bicycles, or chase butterflies outdoors. When not outside, everyone can enjoy watching movies or playing board games. Please note that this is a private lake, gas powered motor boats are not allowed. Only battery powered Trolling motors are allowed. Guest access Guests have access to propane grill, charcoal grill, charcoal smoker, fire pit, large canoe, 2 kayaks, and 2 pedal boats during their stay. Wifi is available as well as Netflix. Early check in! Other things to note Long term rental includes lawn care and bi-weekly housekeeping, as well as access to the studio apartment on the property.
