Pest Control is one of my top priorities since all the properties located in this tropical environment are vulnerable to becoming infested with roaches, ants, and spiders especially during the summer months. Nothing will ruin a family vacation faster than having to share your unit with these unwelcome guests. That is why all my properties are treated and inspected on a regular basis by a Professional Extermination Company. The random treatments offered by the homeowner associations were never enough. These accommodations have been Inspected by an Agent of the State of Florida Division of Hotels & Restaurants and Approved to operate in Key Largo Florida as Vacation Rentals. Whichever individual you decide to business with, make sure to ask if they have the required "Transient License" issued by the state. This will ensure that the unit meets the minimum standards for vacation rentals and is in compliance with the state's Health & Safety Requirements. This is the ONLY way to ensure that you are renting a Legal Vacation Rental and Do Not become a victim of internet fraud as many bogus ads are placed on many of the most popular vacation rental sites. Also, many owners advertise their properties in areas not zoned to allow for short term rentals, so you risk having those reservations being canceled at any time as code enforcement is cracking down on that illegal activity.
