Our custom property on 5 secluded acres is an elegant West Coast contemporary built in 2005 that offers absolute privacy, sensational ocean vistas, and majestic forests with rambling trails for hiking, or biking on several hundred adjacent wild acres. Our custom built structure rests on 5 secluded acres is an elegant West Coast contemporary built in 2005 that offers absolute privacy, sensational ocean vistas, and majestic forests with rambling trails for hiking, or biking on several hundred adjacent wild acres. Upon entering, you step up into the great room. The living space allows for intimate evenings while inviting spectacular ocean sky and fireside views. The main bedroom sits at one end of the structure, with a king bed and ocean views. Its bath facilities offer a rain shower and Japanese soaker tub. At the other end, you will find a second bedroom with a queen bed, along with a deep tub and European shower in its adjoining bathroom. There is a Tempur-pedic foam mattress Comfort Sleeper from American Leather in the study to accommodate additional sleeping arrangements. Guest access Guests have full access with the exception of an external storage area & basement. Other things to note Due to these uncertain times, we have implemented procedures for our cleaners so that the house is carefully and thoroughly cleaned between every guest stay, and this policy will continue through 2024. The cleaners ventilate the property during the process, and use household disinfectants. The cleaning itself includes, along with all the usual processes, all counters, doorknobs, handrails, wardrobes and cabinet handles, toilets, bedside tables, light switches, chairs, appliances controls, and other common contact surfaces, particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms. It is our intention to make every guest stay as safe as possible at Bamboo Grove! Please note that our Shoulder and low season rates are discounted off the "nightly" rate for the minimum 7 night stay, as well as for over-winter stays. Our rates are all inclusive of utilities. 5% GST (Federal), 8% PST (Provincial) & 2% MRDT (Municipal & Regional District) taxes are collected as required by statute, except on bookings of 28 days or longer. Both GST & MRDT are itemized as as "Community Fees" in Airbnb parlance. We are also pet friendly (with prior approval). There is a $200 pet fee + the taxes above, and is separate of booking. Various local breakfast foods will be provided to each booking, based on availability. Typically, bread, jam, eggs, and seasonal fruits & veges. Please also note that upon booking, a rental agreement will be emailed to you to be completed and returned. This must be received prior to occupancy.
