This lovely hand-made home in the woods, lined with windows, flooded with light, has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and a large wraparound deck facing a feisty stream. It has 10 hilly acres of woods with its own paths to wander. Work, relax and play in its inspiring kitchen and lofty spaces stocked with albums, movies, books, art supplies, and instruments. Enveloped in nature, yet only a 10 minute drive to local hot spots including Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Skinners' Falls and Bethel Woods. The space The house is situated on 10 acres of hilly woods, with a stream, ideal for hiking and reflection. The wraparound deck offers views of the gorgeous surroundings. The house is lofty, filled with light and views of forest from every room. There is a well-stocked kitchen, an upper loft with a large smart TV, art books for your perusal, instruments, art supplies, movies, albums and more. There is outdoor lounging furniture and a grill to enjoy the large wrap around deck. We also have a fire pit for you and yours to enjoy. The home has 2 proper bedrooms and beds (the mattresses receive excellent reviews!). But we do allow up to 8 guests, for whom we have comfortable fold out mattresses. The stream is a stream and as such, depending on weather and groundwater levels, will occasionally run dry. In which case, I encourage you to climb up the tumbling gray slate that makes up the stream bed, it's a beautiful little uphill hike. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house and wooded property, with trails and a beautiful little stream. Other things to note To ensure your health and safety, I comply with local laws including additional safety and cleaning guidelines. The rooms are cleaned after each stay with an extensive cleaning checklist provided by Airbnb. I have also provided clean supplies so that guests can clean while they stay.
