Captain’s Cottage is a 3 bedroom one bathroom furnished cottage located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in Ione. A few blocks away (3 minute walk) is the town of Ione. It features a laundromat, general store, pizza , brewery, coffee shop, and restaurants. Locally we have wineries, flowerfarm,caves,gold mining, theater,antiques fishing & boating. Nearby is Plymouth, Jackson, and Sutter Creek . Our own captain loves Lake Amador, Lake Pardee and Lake Camanche all located here in Ione. The space Captains Cottage is tastefully decorated in a nautical Cape Cod style, that invites peaceful relaxation. This is a no smoking (of any kind) inside the premises. (Patio outside only) There is a small library of books on the subject to enjoy. Internet and Roku for your viewing pleasure. BBQ your favorite dinner or sit back and enjoy the delightfully decorated patio. Service dogs must provide a service as well as documentation before check in. 3 separate bedrooms offer silky ,cozy comfort ,and privacy. We have a home full of towels, sheets and blankets. A fully equipped galley (kitchen) . And toiletries in the head (bathroom). Clean, Ionic & UV sterilized. Self check in and a great place for work or leisure. Walking distance for shopping, restaurants, lakes, golf course, Harris casino, equestrian center, skate (Howard Park) & weddings like Heirloom . Just book 8 people on your reservation and that will adjust the fee to include the Captains Quarters! Guest access The Captains Cottage is available to you with the exception of the attached locked bedroom and garage. The three bedrooms, front room, kitchen (galley) and patio are all private and for your personal use . (The whole house. ) Smoking is permitted in the backyard patio. We do not have EV chargers nor bitcoin stations. No Bitcoin mining nor electric vehicle charging. ONLY 8 people total, (not reserving the Capt. Quarters) including small children allowed at ALL times.. We are located in a quiet and peaceful residential subdivision. Your respect for the location and neighbors is greatly appreciated. :-) We do have outdoor cameras to monitor the perimeter for your safety. Main bedroom is locked out as well as the garage. No boat or RV parking. Laundromat is located in town. Smoking,vaping ,or cannabis not allowed inside the house. Outside Patio only. We do have a rock garden with metal yard art sculptures. This may pose a hazard for very young children. We do have a Preprogramed “Nest” thermostat. It senses motion and if not detected will automatically adjust the temperature. No ghosts, just an electronic feature of the “NEST” thermostat to save energy. Age Requirement : 21 or over *Guest staying must include person/people with whom made the reservation.
