Alto Pass is extremely unique... not commercialized. We are in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest and the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. There is a scenic overlook of Bald Knob Cross of Peace and a hiking trail (Quetil Trail) all within walking distance. Cell service... if you have Verizon, you're all set. Any other cell service doesn't get the best reception. We are in rural southern Illinois. But, we do have excellent high speed internet. There is a 4-digit key pad on the back patio kitchen door.
