The space My house is located in one of the absolute best locations in Bend! Just 17 minutes from awesome skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor, the 7th largest ski resort in North America, 5th best in the U.S. and Canada (per Wall Street Journal). An 8-minute drive to world-class Nordic skiing, snow-shoeing at Meissner, and 10-minute drive to Wanoga's big, super fun sledding park (winter) and mountain bike trails/dog park (summer). You'll be in the heart of the best mountain biking, road biking, hiking, golfing, fishing, kayaking, floating, SUPing, camping and shopping, plus all the amazing views and outdoor activities you can do in and around the Deschutes River - all either a 10-15 minute walk or 6-10 minute drive from my house. And if that's not enough, my house is only a few minutes' drive to the best pubs, restaurants, music and art festivals, downtown Bend, Drake Park, the Old Mill and Box Factory shopping and dining areas, and Hayden Homes Amphitheater. I'm as close as you can get to Mt. Bachelor ski and snowboard resort and world-class Nordic ski center. My house is even closer to Bend's other world-class Nordic ski park, called Meisner, with AMAZING views throughout. Discover Meissner, Swampy, and Wanoga trail system for some of the absolute best, totally free Nordic skiing and mountain biking... right out my door! In the summer, it's a 6-minute ride from my garage to Phil's Trail, Bend's world-class mountain biking trail system. And a 5-minute drive up Century Dr. to a whole other awesome mountain biking area called Wanoga Park, which is my favorite hiking and mountain biking area. Wanoga is also where you can also Nordic ski and the best place in Bend to take the kids sledding - for free! I'm not a runner but several of my guests said there is a lot of incredible trail running down Haul Road through Mt. Bachelor Village to the Deschutes River Trail. There's a very special feeling you get when you walk in my house. It just FEELS GOOD when you're here. It feels peaceful and even healing, and it also feels festive. The big, open spaces and the way the windows stream light in and at night with my lighting make this house magical. It sits above the other houses, which makes you feel like blue sky and trees are all around you, and the snow coming down is so wonderful to watch. The front deck off the great room has a patio dining table and chairs for evening meals in the warm sun and soft sunsets. (BBQ not available) The backyard has a larger patio table and more chairs, with morning sunshine for coffee and breakfast turning into shade midday for comfortable outdoor dinners and cool bedroom sleeping. It's delightful and fun to sit with all the nature and wildlife around my house, such as deer with their fawns, quail, bunnies, and lots of birds singing right in my backyard. 3 bedrooms with high-end luxury beds: Master bedroom has California King Tempur-Pedic bed, 2nd bedroom has queen Molecule bed, 3rd bedroom has two twin Beautyrest beds. The deep Japanese soaking tub in the Master bathroom is a peaceful and relaxing treat after a fun day of all the amazing outdoor sports, dining and entertainment Bend is so famous for. Enjoy!
