North West Pennsylvania lodge, sleeps 47

A delightful and authentic visit to the Pennsylvania Wilds! The secluded large rustic lodge consists of two side by side buildings connected by a deck walkway. Each building has three levels. There are 18 rooms in all, each having lovely views of the surrounding forest. The lodge sleeps 47. Although the lodge is rustic it is well-appointed with comfort features such as hot water baseboard heat fueled by natural gas from wells on the property. Some floors are oak hardwood; others are carpeted. The space There is a fully equipped large kitchen with an adjacent large dining area; a kitchenette is also available for additional food preparation. Many cooks can comfortably work together without concern for “spoiling the broth.” Guests are, of course, responsible for their own food. Recommendations for catering services and local restaurants will be available. It should be noted, however, that restaurants and grocery stores are at least nine miles away. A large barn (unheated) is available for indoor activities such as weddings, active game playing, dancing, dramatic performances, presentations to groups, yoga, tai chi, or whatever activity requires a large open space. The barn, like the lodge, has large decks for enjoying the woodland landscape. The barn is available from Mid-May through September. If you want to hold a wedding at the lodge, there is a barn rental fee of $1500. There is a tiny house on the property. It has all the amenities you need including a full bath, full kitchen, living area with TV and a loft bedroom with a queen bed. It's perfect for overflow from the main lodge or a romantic getaway. It even has its own deck which is elevated enough that you feel like you are a part of the trees when you relax with your morning coffee. The tiny house is an additional $150 per night. There is a pond on the property and trails for walking through the 200-acres of fields and forests. Guests particularly enjoy the photographic opportunities and nature study. Outdoor activities are available including campfires and games such as croquet and volleyball. The lodge is located on a 200-acre property perfect for going out and hunting and coming back to the cozy lodge. The setting is suitable for gatherings, parties, retreats, reunions, weddings, workshops, receptions, and all kinds of music and social events. There is plenty of parking space for large events. Guest access Guests have access to the lodge, except back of the house locations that are locked. Guests have access to the entire 200-acre property which includes the barn, walking trails, and the fishing only pond. Other things to note Everyone in the group must be 25 or older or accompanied by a parent. The price is $65 per person, per night. The minimum is 30 guests. The $1950 you see is the charge for 30 guests per night. If you have more or less than 30, please reach out, and I can update your price.
