Our home is located in the Bywater Historic District. It is a classic double shotgun with a great front porch located 3 blocks from the Mississippi and Crescent Park on a quiet, walkable, tree lined street. Many of the best Bywater restaurants are close: BABS, Satsuma, Elizabeth's, Pizza Delicious, Country Club, The Joint, (BBQ), Brats Y'all, Suis Generis and more . 25 min walk to the French Quarter, 15 min walk to Frenchmen St. for live music. Uber is $7-10 to the Quarter. The space The home is 1/2 of a historic double shotgun. Completely private and independent from the other 1/2. A shotgun means you walk through one room to get to the next. Queen bed on the first floor and Cali King on the second floor. Eat in kitchen, great front porch for people watching and a private back patio area that is shared with the residents of the other apartment. Full washer/dryer and all new appliances. Free phone calls to anywhere in the US and Canada. We do have great tenants in the other half of the home so please be respectful - especially late evenings or early mornings. Quiet mini-split A/C system keeps the place super cool all summer long. Guest access You have access to the entire 1/2 of the double shot gun home which includes the front porch with 2 areas of seating so that you can relax and watch the neighborhood activities as well as a shared quiet, private back patio area with seating. So make yourself a Sazerac, relax and take in our southern charm. We are a dog friendly house, however we request your fur babies are leashed whenever on our property outside of the apartment. The home does have a convenient side-door off of the kitchen which allows outside access to the back and front patio areas - so if someone is sleeping in the first floor bedroom you do not have to disturb them to access to rest of the home which is great.
