Welcome! Our contemporary home is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains on 5.26 acres. Ideal for family gatherings and reunions. Located just 1.5 miles from the village of Margaretville and 12 miles to many wedding venues located in the villages of Roxbury, Andes and Bovina. Nearby, 9 miles is Belleayre ski center. 12 miles away is Ski Plattekill. The house has 5 bedrooms, 7 beds with 3 full bathrooms. Sleeps 15. Check out our wedding barn venue located next door at the Inn. The space The Guest House is an open air concept contemporary house with stone fireplace and gorgeous mountain views that can be enjoyed from inside through the sliding glass doors and sky lights or out on the wrap around deck. There are five bedrooms of which one is a large open space with three queen beds, a bathroom, a living room area and a separate entrance. The other three bedrooms upstairs each have one queen bed and separate entrances. The third bedroom upstairs has two bedroom doors, one that connects to the second bedroom and one door with a separate entrance. If you have children the connected door is there. If you are a couple you have a private entrance and can lock the connected door. Convenient either way. The fourth bedroom is located on the main floor off the living room with an attached bathroom good for the elderly. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, and there is a washer and dryer onsite for use. Outside there is a firepit with wood provided, barbecue grill and lawn chairs on and off the two decks. In the winter one can go sledding down the hill , we provide sleds or snowshoe or cross country ski in the field next to the Inn (15 acres). We also have staff on board to guide you through any weekend happenings or if any issues arise, we have a 24 hr. emergency contact person and I also live next door at the Inn. If you are interested in hosting a wedding at the Inn, please contact me, the 1900 barn is a perfect venue and reasonable. Elopements too! We have an officant onsite.
