Situated 2 miles south of I-20 and within 10 minutes of the famous Canton First Monday Trades Days, this spacious guesthouse offers convenience to town as well as the quiet solitude of the country. Our house and guesthouse are situated on 2.5 acres, with woods and pasture surrounding it. We provide a variety of amenities to make your stay comfortable. These include a fully equipped kitchen, coffee, high speed internet, comfortable beds, TV/DVD player with Apple TV and a selection of family friendly movies. Melissa is a Certified Family Herbalist and the owner of Simply Genesis Wellness Center, located at the front of the building, separate from the guesthouse. Consider booking a wellness appointment during your stay! Guests have private access to guesthouse, and can enjoy relaxing on the porch and strolling in the yard. We enjoy personally meeting our guests but also let them have their space. We can be reached by text or phone call. We are situated in the country, 2 miles off of I-20. Our guest house is next door to our main home. The homes in the area are located on acreage, and there are lots of trees, so there is a sense of privacy. There is a field that wraps around our land, then woods beyond that. You may see horses, cows, donkeys, road runners, raccoons, deer and an occasional armadillo. The best way to get around in the area is by personal automobile. There is no public transportation. Our guest house has a queen size bed in the master bedroom, a king floor mattress in the loft, and a bunk bed with a floor mattress underneath in the main area. The building is wheelchair accessible. The bathroom is large with an over-sized tub, shower head and head-held shower. The kitchen is full-sized with access to pots, pans, dishes, etc. There is a mini-fridge, stove, microwave and coffee pot. The living room has a television with Apple TV and a selection of family-friendly movies. The guesthouse has high-speed internet as well.
