Chalet At The Beech is a newly renovated 5 bedroom 3 bath chalet situated along Beech Mountains Upper Creek and trail, with an attached Ski Cottage featuring 2 bedrooms 2 baths. The Chalet is FULLY LOADED with everything you could possibly need, from cookie sheets ,pizza cutters and charcuterie boards in the fully stocked kitchen to the Coffee Bar. Wireless high speed FIBER INTERNET for those who need to work from home. The MAIN Chalet is equipped with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, laundry room, loft, and family room. BEDROOM 1: Queen-sized bed located on the main level with en suite bathroom BEDROOM 2: Queen-sized bed located on the main level . BEDROOM 3: Two Queen-sized beds located on the lower ground level BEDROOM 4: Two Twin over twin bunk beds (4 twins) lower ground level BEDROOM 5: Two Twin Beds on the 3 floor Loft. Stairs are narrow. The lower ground level Chalet features private entrance laundry, mud room, full bath and stairs to main level The PRIVATE SKI COTTAGE is a two bedroom guest house with family room featuring a pull out queen sofa, Roku TV, coffee bar, microwave and mini fridge. Walk out to the expansive deck, fire pit and hot tub BEDROOM 1: King sized bed with full en suite BEDROOM 2: Queen sized bed with full en suite, pack n play in closet. FAMILY ROOM: Queen sized pull out sofa KITCHEN - The kitchen in the main house is fully stocked with everything Grandma needs to make Thanksgiving dinner and then some. DECKS- The perfect place to sit back, relax and take in Mother Nature while sipping a cup of Joe from the Coffee Bar as the sun rises. Great space to spread out and grill on our two grills, dine on the outdoor tables or rock in the rockers. HOT TUB - Six-person hot tub is located on the lower deck. FIREPIT - The one of a kind Ski Lift Chair fire pit area is situated by the Upper Creek babbing creek, it's a unique setting to gather around and make s'mores or roast marshmallows. The perfect way to cap off a long day on the slopes or hiking. DECKS LOWER DECK features 6 person hot tub, propane grill, propane fire table with comfortable adirondack chairs with cup holders, dining table, hammock and corn hole UPPER DECK- Outdoor dining table, comfortable rockers and propane grill. This property is a relaxing 4 seasons gateway and the perfect home base for all the activities at Beech Mountain, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain and the surrounding area. Plus Shampoo/conditioner/body wash/Hair dryers If needed for guests 19 & 20, the sofa in the Ski Chalet opens up to a queen bed. GUEST ACCESS: Location of the house requires walking down 6 steps from the main parking lot onto the main level deck for access to mail level of the Chalet. There are additional stairs to access the lower levels from inside or the outside deck. S alt is provided in the winter for you to de-ice them if needed. Four-wheel drive or chains are required to access the property when there is snow or a threat of snow during the winter months, The house is not wheelchair accessible! Guests will have access to the entire property and all of the amenities. Guests will be provided with Schlage electronic door access codes. No keys to lose or misplace. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: 5 Vehicle Maximum Parking (sometimes parking is available downtown or at the Beech Mountain Resort for other vehicles) Beech Mountain offers putt putt golf, outdoor movies in the summer, festivals, skiing, restaurants, and both mountain bike and hiking trails. In addition you will find fishing, gem mining, horseback riding, winery tours and whitewater rafting nearby. There's a newly constructed brewery with a mountain top open air yurt style bar and restaurant too. This facility is appropriately named 5506' Skybar, paying tribute to the elevation that gives Beech Mountain the title of highest ski area east of the Rockies. During winter months there's also a FREE sledding hill for kids. Additionally, there's ice skating, skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. Guest access Doors have key codes. You may park 4 cars comfortably, 5 with juggling. Other things to note For your safety and security we do have two cameras. One in the driveway and one facing the wood pile. Neither of these are in any area where privacy should be expected.
