Blueberry Hill Cottage: town and country

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees - yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Cottage accommodates two adults with foldout bed for a child. Stainless steel appliances and tv with streaming services. Easy hop to Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and biking, wineries, Boone. About a mile to downtown. Watch wildlife from your private rear deck, sit on covered front porch, or stroll the 2.6 acres of grounds. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged. The space Front covered porch and a back deck allow interaction with the outdoors. Deer can be seen just outside the property fence on the adjacent greenspace and many different birds live on the property: cardinals can be seen and owls and woodpeckers heard. The cottage is cozy, perfect for two. (Not recommended for three adults). There is a living area, bedroom, bathroom with shower and a table for two in the kitchen area. The laundry room is downstairs in the basement, accessible from outside steps or stairs. No stairs needed to access the living space. Guest access Two and six tenth acre grounds are open to guests. Stroll through wooded area, fruit and vegetable gardens or landscaped areas. Five landscaped meditation or reading spots with benches throughout, one of them very close to the cottage. Manmade waterfall and lighted pavilion. Ample parking near cottage. Other things to note We try to make guests feel welcome but also allow them an opportunity to "get away from it all" during their stay in this private cottage. Cottage is on same property as main house, so we are close by to help if needed. Property is gated but gate is not locked. Pets allowed for a fee. We have two dogs on the property. Extra charge for more than 2 guests. Cottage is perfect for one or two adults but more than that is a squeeze. Complimentary tea, coffee and condiments.
