The Cozy Cottage is perfectly located just 5 miles away from historic downtown Franklin, TN and minutes from beautiful Leiper’s fork. Nestled on an 6 acre property - with goats and miniature donkeys, the cottage offers a country experience while just a short jaunt from town. It is only a 30 minute drive into downtown Nashville and offers a perfect retreat for musicians looking for some peace, just outside of Music City USA. The space You can enjoy a camp fire in the backyard firepit, surrounded by benches crafted from wood harvested on the property, or take a nap on the covered front porch on the suspended bed swing while listening to the birds in the surrounding stately maple trees. When you are feeling brave, you can explore the historic cemetery on the property, featuring a revolutionary war veteran who was likely granted this land as a payment for his service. Or, imagine the history of the valley which is a stone’s throw away from the Civil War battle site for the city of Franklin. The Cozy Cottage is a ranch style home that has been recently renovated and completely updated. An open concept kitchen blends seamlessly into a hearth room which contains a sleeper sofa. The dining room contains a large table to accommodate your party or you can or enjoy a snack at the kitchen island which was built from an elm tree that was harvested on the property. Other things to note As stated in our rental agreement and listings, our intention is to provide a comfortable environment for all visitors. No visitors are allowed without prior arrangement made in advance. Any reservations made under false pretense will result in loss of advance payments and removal from property. We do not allow parties or gatherings of any kind without prior authorization/ approval. Guests holding unauthorized events or gatherings will be asked to leave the property and will not be given a refund.
