The space NEWLY REMODELED KITCHEN & BATHROOM: Experience the charm of our beautifully remodeled Topanga guesthouse, where modern updates meet cottage style. With a brand-new kitchen featuring a dishwasher and a refreshed bathroom, plus freshly painted interiors, this guesthouse offers both comfort and style. Vaulted ceilings, cozy French doors, and mountain-view decks create a serene atmosphere, while a cozy loft bedroom with a queen bed and a living room with a pull-out queen sofa bed provide ample space. Step outside to enjoy the waterfall pool, year-round Jacuzzi, and lush rose garden. Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, our property is ideal for hiking or biking along scenic trails, yet just minutes from the beach. Malibu is a 15-minute drive, Santa Monica is 15 minutes away, and the beach is only 8 minutes down the road—making this the perfect place to enjoy both mountains and ocean in one day. We pride ourselves on maintaining a pristine guesthouse, ensuring it's spotless and ready for your arrival. Please note, the pool is unheated from October 1st to June 1st, though the Jacuzzi is available year-round. Our property is in a peaceful neighborhood, so we kindly ask that guests refrain from hosting parties or loud gatherings. Guest access Here is the address of the guesthouse: 21452 Encina Road Topanga, CA. 90290 If you don’t have a GPS or mapquest, please let us know where you are coming from to assist in directions. When you turn onto Entrada take your SECOND Encina entrance. It is about a ½ mile up on right. Our home is about 6 houses in on the left. Our mailbox is on the opposite side of the street from our house so don’t let that confuse you. Also, our car, White Lexus , is parked out front and there is a blue little swimming sign hanging on the wooden gate that you enter through. If you are arriving at night, please lets us know ahead of time and bring a flashlight. It can be dark! . Parking is on the street in front of the house. Once you arrive, go through wooden gate on driveway. Proceed through second rod iron gate to the guesthouse. The guesthouse property is all gated. You will see a little upper deck lounge area which is for your use as well. Keys: The Keys will be in the guesthouse on the coffee table. Check-in: 4:00 pm. Emergency Information: The cellular telephone reception inside our unit is unfortunately unpredictable at times. The breaker box is located on the wall in the closet. In case of a short, flick the switch for the appropriate room. The pool lights are on the side of the guesthouse along with a flood light incase you need extra light. It can be very dark at night, so we recommend bringing a flashlight. HOUSE RULES: 1. This is a family neighborhood. NO PARTIES OR LOUD MUSIC. Quiet hours start at 9pm until 9am. No use of Pool after 9pm for safety purposes. QUIET HOURS WILL BE ENFORCED. We live in a lovely neighborhood with great neighbors. Noise travels in the canyon which can be disruptive to others. 2. We love having families and kids enjoying the pool area! Safety is very important so want parents/adult with kids swimming at all times. 3. You MUST be 25 years or older. You will be asked to leave if you aren't of age. 4. Maximum of 4 guest. There is a loft with a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. Please be sure this works for you group. 5. This is a dog friendly property. Dogs must be friendly and get along with other dogs and people. Dogs need to be crated if left in the guesthouse to keep our property looking nice. No dogs are allowed on the furniture or bed. If extra cleaning needs to be done due to dog stains and hair, this will be deducted from your security deposit. 6. The guesthouse is located on our property. The guesthouse is semi- private. We share the pool. Checkout: 10am. On the morning of your checkout please do the following: •Bring all trash to the dumpsters located in front of the house •Place all towels, beach towels, and sheets in a pile on the floor in guesthouse. You can leave beds unmade. Other things to note Please be sure to follow the driving instruction as GPS might take you on the first Encina which will still get you there but a bit longer of a route. Please be sure to park on the street in front of the main house. If you are staying for a longer period of time, the trash gets picked up on Thursdays.
