Leave the car in the driveway! Capt Smith, is on the 1st floor of a beautifully restored Victorian home. Short walk to the heart & harbor of Camden with restaurants, shops, opera house, library and beach. Convenient single-level living, property location & homely, comfortable, clean accommodation. 3 bedrooms with queen size beds. Master bed has full bath. Other 2 beds share shower room. Fully equipped kitchen. Spacious living room. Gracious porch with table, chairs & grill. Shared laundry. Capt Smith is a cosy, yet roomy apartment with all you need for your stay. The fully equipped kitchen is a huge plus for families on vacation who still enjoy to stay home and cook, and the gas BBQ on the porch is provided for your use. Guests have their own access through a common entrance area. The porch is for your exclusive use and enjoyment. We live upstairs from Capt Smith and we are always available, either in person to by phone/text, to answer any questions you may have. We like to meet our guests on arrival. This a 'home-away-from-home' place to stay! You'll love the leisurely walk to the harbor for breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of Camden's many fine restaurants, a sunset cruise on a schooner and afterwards relaxing on your front porch with a glass of wine. For those looking for a more energetic vacation, we have Mt Battie on our doorstep with great hiking trails. And not having to drive and find somewhere to park is truly a great benefit. The great thing about Capt Smith is its location to town. No need to worry about where to park the car or parking restrictions.... just leave it where it is and enjoy the short walk to town. For reservations for less than 6 nights, please contact the host directly. Saturday to Saturday bookings only during the summer months.
