T he cabin is tucked into the hillside and is an eclectic mix of found treasures and clean, modern conveniences. Great beds, cozy rooms, multiple fireplaces including outdoor rustic fire pit. Enjoy the calm of the countryside while minutes away from so many things to do. Guest access You have access to the entire cabin. The cabin is approx. 800 square feet with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer. Entry foyer upstairs, as well as entry from downstairs porch. Downstairs- sunroom, kitchen and bathroom downstairs as well as decks and porches. Laundry area with Maytag washer and dryer. Enjoy the Gourmet style kitchen, every amenity including microwave, waffle maker, blender, coffee press, mandoline, hand mixer, juices and other equipment for cooking fabulous meals. Snack bar counter/ area for hanging out or preparing a meal. Great selection of kitchen cookware include Le Creuset, Cuisinart, Oster and multiple sizes of pots, pans and bowls as well as well curated serving pieces- all in a compact easy work space. If you like to cook, eat, or shop for handmade items make sure you visit the area farm stands and especially the Ligonier Country Market on Saturdays 8-12:00 May-September. Amazing, awesome market with juried vendors.The market features organic meats, produce, plants, wineries, baked goods, fresh and prepared foods, handmade craft, delicious food-pierogi! grilled pizzas! fresh squeezed juices! Don't miss it, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Two nice sized bedrooms, recently painted and finished with excellent beds and bedding. Primary bedroom: Super comfy king in primary bed room, including built in clothes storage and hanging area. Bookshelves, Roku TV, WIFI (USB port at each side of bed) Great view of rolling hills behind cabin. Second bedroom: Two twins in second bedroom with each bed having a cozy reading light and plugs for internet access. Three drawer Dresser for unpacking and clothes bar for hanging items. Also- convenient suitcases storage under the beds:) Enjoy ilghted makeup mirror- (magnifies and lights) Extra sleeping available - Two twin blow-up beds are always available Cabin decor is an eclectic mix of furniture- antiques, thrift shop finds and interesting artwork and artifacts. "rustic!" Sunroom is a combination living room and dining area that is the favorite place to hang. 9 windows give you a leafy view to the woods and meadows. Cozy gas fireplace stove is instantly on and gives a cozy glow. Wood burning fireplace in kitchen area is a warm and cozy spot to sit. Industrial style staircase leads from the upper level to the lower level entrance, complete with flowering garden on each side. Where this cool welded hunk of metal staircase came from, we don't know, but we love it and it is a favorite spot to sit. Enjoy the porch-deck on the side of the house. Nice place to sit and watch the sun set. Th cabin is 10 minutes from Idlewild and Soak Zone, famous children's amusement park, built in 1800's and considered one of the top children's parks in the world. The town of Ligonier is 3 miles away with its many restaurants and great shops. Other things to note Please note that the cabin front is very close to low traffic Wilpen road. It is very quiet at night. We have had many guests with small children stay as well as pets and this hasn't been an issue but wanted to point it out clearly that the cabin is near Wilpen Road.. Please also note that the cabin is built into a hillside so there are steps to navigate. If you or anyone in your party has climbing or navigating stairs as an issue, please check pictures before you book. Two Bedrooms, upstairs foyer, bathroom/shower are on upper level with stairs to the lower level kitchen, sunroom, bathroom and side decks.. Pets are welcome! Please note - you will be charged a $50.00 fee when you book. We ask that you keep pets contained in a crate (condo:) if left unattended. Also, we provide extra sheets for furniture and bed covering if your pet is on these pieces. Please clean up and keep pet hair to minimum. You will be charged for additional cleaning if necessary.
