Guest suite in St. Augustine

This very private studio apartment is on Anastasia Island, with its own entrance across the street to Anastasia State Park, which includes the St. Augustine Amphitheater in a quiet, friendly beach neighborhood. This ideal location is quite literally "a walk in the park" to a beautiful undeveloped Florida beach; or a 10 minute drive across the famous Bridge of Lions to historic downtown St. Augustine – with quick access to the many local attractions and great restaurants in the area. The space Formerly an artist’s studio, the ground floor (of this 3 story home) has been converted into a spacious, pleasantly peaceful, charming, and artistic environment – romantic in nature, stylishly furnished with TLC. Enter through your own private sliding glass door entrance to a cozy retreat from the side and back garden patios. Features include a large comfortable couch, king-size Sleep Number bed, multi-use fold-out table, full size closet with lots of hangers to unpack your belongings, an ironing board and iron and an extra blanket. You will also have access to a full size washer and dryer when needed. The small kitchenette does not include a stove or oven, but does include a mini refrigerator with separate freezer – stocked with water, a Mr. Coffee machine as well as a Keurig with assortment of coffees and teas and creamers, a small microwave, an electric skillet, an electric crock pot, a food steamer, dishes and silverware. Enjoy a good size shower with adjustable shower head, in a bathroom with a custom stained glass window, lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, tooth brushes, tooth paste, (and anything else you may have forgotten), and a good size one-of-a-kind cabinet for clothes or incidentals. Wi-Fi and TV includes all networks, HBO, Showtime, MAX, and other movie channels – with an ability to record your favorites while you are sight-seeing or on the beach! The back garden area includes lounge chairs and a table with chairs for relaxing in the sun or having coffee or meal outdoors. Included with the studio is beach gear: 2 beach chairs, beach towels, a beach carry-all bag, and small cooler – everything you need for beach fun. Bicycles are available to rent along with Kayaks in Anastasia State Park or at a local establishment within walking distance. Guest access There is a private entrance to a studio apartment through the back yard. Guests over the age of 12 years old have access to the back yard patio garden which includes a table with four chairs plus patio lounging chairs. Guests also have access to the laundry room which includes beach gear. Parking is also provided. Other things to note CLEANING ROUTINE: You may have noticed that guests usually comment on how clean my space is. And even though I do this routine at all times, you may want to know my process. The space is ventilated both before and after I clean. After ventilating, I clean the space thoroughly, and then use either a Clorox or Lysol spray cleaner to clean ALL top, bottom and side surfaces including: sinks, the shower, the toilet, tables, counters, cabinets, light switch plates, door handles, the refrigerator inside and out, and all other appliances, etc. – anything that could be touched – all sprayed and wiped off with paper towels that are disposed of immediately. All rugs, bed linen, bedspreads, blankets, mattress covers, pillows, decorative pillow covers, towels, wash cloths, etc. are washed with soap and hot water between EVERY guest visit. The vacuum cleaner is emptied after every cleaning. Mops are machine-washed with hot water after every cleaning between every guest visit. The trash can and basket have trash bag liners. Trash from cleaning is put into a plastic trash bag, tied off and disposed of immediately after cleaning. And hands are washed immediately and often.
