Serene corner lot on cul-de-sac with intersecting canals that lead to Chassahowitzka River. Paddle to 7 Sisters Springs & visit "The Crack". 2 docks-4 kayaks, 1 canoe w/paddles & life jackets. 2 bedrooms & 2 full baths. See "The Space" (below). Sleeps 5 in beds & up to 9 on 2 sofas, foldout futon, chairbed. Fast Wi-Fi & streamed TV. TV's in living room & both bedrms. 1 DVD player. Fully stocked kitchen: cookware, micro, drip coffee maker, toaster, etc. Central AC/heat. Clean & comfortable. The space *See pics of all rooms* Mermaid bedroom: 1twin/1full w TV & access to main bathroom. Master bedroom: King Canopy & a fold out futon mattress is available in closet should you have additional guests-please let me know in advance if you have additional guests-all guests must be included at booking time. Master has its own ensuite bathroom and garden tub. Living room has a pullout love seat bed & a small futon chair/bed. Both child size. Living/Dining/Kitchen are set up as open floor plan. You enter through the carport door to living room, across living room is dining room and then kitchen. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with and eat & drink except your food and drink (microwave, coffee maker, pots/ pans, blender, silverware, dishes, etc). Washer/dryer are at end of kitchen just across from back door and the main bathroom has 2 access doors, 1 to mermaid room and other to laundry room/hallway leading to kitchen. Screened in patio out back door with water view, with table, chairs & stored life jackets (required by law to be in the vessel with you-Kayaks included). The fire-pit is next to the water, near the steps ascending to the corner dock. The house is very quiant, comfortable and clean. Very quiet place to stay with serene water views and easy access to Chassahowitzka River (see Seven Sisters Springs-quite nearby-on the right as soon as you reach the river, & "The Crack, as well as the rest of the rivers tributaries and wildlife: manatees/birds/fish/gators-oh my! And all the area has to offer. It's not fancy, just very comfortable and accommodating. Our "river house" is designed for guests to explore and experience nature, see wildlife, and traverse the river. Guest access Entire house. Other things to note *See pics of 12' culvert that boats must travel to from house to river.* If you bring a boat, other than a canoe or kayak (anything you can't carry) you will need to put it in at the boat launch. In order to travel from the boat launch back to the house, you will need to be able to go through the culvert. Water is shallow, especially at low tide. Pontoons that are not deck boats usually fit, you have to lower the top, any fishing rods, and bimini tops. The pictures show the passage. Most boats can put in 4 blocks away at the Chassahowitzka River Campground launch, larger boats can put in at McRae's on Halls River Road on the Homosassa River. Pet fee $100 (for up to 2 dogs only) **Please request in advance of booking if more than 1-2 dogs.** Dog(s) must be up-to-date on required shots, be on flea control either topical or oral, owners must be responsible for the pets & pickup after them. Please keep pets off the furniture. If your pet sleeps with you please put a sheet over the top of the bedding. Pet sheets in master bedroom closet. Leash laws apply-please do not allow your dog to run to neighbor's yard(s).
