Mountain Retreat in Cascade CO

Enjoy the Pikes Peak National Forest and Cascade creek from our large sunny deck. Located in the Ute Pass area 15 minutes from Colorado Springs and 5 minutes from Manitou Springs. Beautiful fir wood floors and lots of natural light make this home ideal for a peaceful get away. Come soak in our claw foot tub while gazing out at the lush scenery. Local attractions include the Pikes Peak highway and historical Santa's North Pole minutes away. Hiking trails are right out your front door. The space This is a beautiful turn of the century home, perfectly restored and modernized. This was our first home that we bought. The moment we saw it, we knew we had to live there. Though we moved to Fort Collins, we decided to keep this house in our family. We have a beautiful front porch with a porch swing that is enjoyable in the morning for coffee or to enjoy an evening meal. The fir woodwork in the house is beautiful and invites a feeling of warmth. Guest access 3 bedroom, queen-size pull out couch in the living room. There is a play and pack available in the upstairs bedroom closet for young children to sleep in as well as a gate for use in front of the staircase and a booster seat for the table. Sheets for the pull out bed are left out in the upstairs bedroom. 2 bath, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, basic cable TV, wifi and DVD player. Other things to note Please notify us if adding guests to your party. The house sleeps a maximum of 7 people. There are queen sized beds in the two upstairs bedrooms and a double bed in the third bedroom, also upstairs. There is also a comfortable queen sized pull out in the downstairs living room area. Please let us know if you need check-in or check-out times accommodated. We've been told that with some phone services, you do not have service in the canyon so take the entry code with you. There is wifi in the house. We have a very strict "No Smoking" policy that includes inside the house, the porch and yard. Our house is wood framed and we also sit in a wooded area. We often have a local or state fire ban, especially in the summer. Failure to follow this request can result in the loss of your damage deposit. Thank you.
