We are located in horse country in the quaint town of Alachua Fl on 4 beautiful country acres - you will feel at home but can get away from all the hustle and bustle. Peaceful guesthouse with everything you’ll need during your stay. Park like property - gorgeous trees. Stress Free ! The space Guesthouse is on 4+ acres at the end of a private dirt road. It’s a free standing house that is separated from the owner occupied main residence by a lovely covered porch/breezeway where you can hang out and enjoy the view of the countryside. The home is nicely furnished and you will find it is equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay. Throughout the bright and airy house are high ceilings, lots of large windows, wood floors, quality cabinetry and trim work. The bedroom has a queen size iron bed with ultra comfortable mattress + lux linens, beautiful bathroom with walk in shower, large walk in closet. The living room-dining room- kitchen combo features a gas fireplace for chilly evenings, Flat screen TV, full size pullout sofa bed with ultra soft UGG bedding. Kitchen is fully equipped with all your cooking needs, coffee maker/coffee & a variety of teas , toaster, blender, dishes, pots & pans and utensils, 2 burner cook top, microwave oven and full size fridge. Dining area has an oak table and 4 chairs. Guest access Entire Guesthouse, breezeway, garden and lots of parking Other things to note Alachua is a quaint small town that was recently featured in Southern Living Magazine. you will enjoy the drive in on the canopied roads with beautiful horse and hay farms. Close to High Springs + Ginnie springs if you’re coming to the area to explore, canoe, tube or dive. Lots of nice Antique shops in High Springs. Super cute restaurants in both downtown Alachua and High Springs with all types of cuisine. Grocery shopping In Alachua, Gainesville, or Newberry is about 7 miles in either direction. 20 minutes to all UF campus for Gator events. Neighboring property is a 100+ acre tree nursery. You will see horses and goats on your drive into the neighborhood, wild turkey, deer and abundance of all types of birds. Enjoy amazing star gazing at night. We are located at the very end of 172 street exactly .9 mile down a privately maintained country dirt road. It can be pretty bumpy especially after a good rain! The home is equipped with a top of the line water filtration system but we are in the country and we are on well water so if you’re used to smelling highly chlorinated city water it will definitely smell different to you. Dogs are welcomed at a rate of $50 per night per pet, max 2. This fee is payable upon arrival not billed by Airbnb. Current vaccinations must be emailed prior to your arrival. We appreciate you not allowing them on the furniture and picking up after them. We have dogs/cats and chickens on the property !
