This house shares a driveway with another house on the property, but the entire outdoor space for this building is fenced off so it is private both inside and outside when enjoying the hot tub, loungers, grill, etc. Please enter the accurate count of guests--we charge a small extra fee for more than two guests to account for utilities/amenities/wear and tear on the property so please respect our pricing and reflect the proper guest count on your reservation so you know the accurate charge when you book. If the guest count is not accurate on the reservation we will charge double the extra guest fee. Due to the wildlife in the area and our HOA rules this is a strictly no-pets property. Let us know if we can answer any questions for you! Guest access Guests have private use of the 2 bedroom/2 bath unit with private hot tub, fire pit, sun loungers, and BBQ. Tennis courts shared with main house but available for guests to use (2 rackets & balls provided). Tennis courts are almost exclusively for your use, though the owners may use them Thursday and/or Saturday afternoon for 1.5 hours for a lesson--we will notify you in advance if so. Other things to note The drive up to the property is a little winding--the views will be worth it! The first time getting up takes a little time to figure out, but once you've figured it out the first time, it's only about 5 minutes off of PCH and much easier subsequent times. Please do not speed and drive very carefully on the road near the house, it is dangerous due to the blind curves and we have many neighbors who walk their dogs off-leash in this area. This house is surrounded by some amazing nature, and so you can expect to see some bugs and wildlife at times. In the summer they are especially active--we are always clearing off spider webs and cleaning inside and outside but please understand you probably will run into some bugs & critters during your stay. Per our HOA requirement, pets are no longer allowed on the property. Gardener comes on Tuesdays for general maintenance and hot tub tech on Thursdays. Please note there is no luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. If you'd like early check-in, make sure to request it in advance. In most cases we cannot offer it, but we will be happy to let you know in case it is possible (though we may not be able to let you know either way until the morning of check-in in many cases). It is EXTREMELY rare that we can offer late checkout, but if you request it in advance as well we will let you know if it's possible. Requests the morning of for late checkout are not possible due to the need to schedule our cleaners in advance. Guests are solely responsible to check themselves for personal items and remove them before check-out. If any items left behind are found, we take NO responsibility for their safekeeping in any way. As a courtesy, found items may be arranged to be picked up in Santa Monica at a time that is possible based on our availability; we do not mail forgotten items nor take any responsibility for their storage, transport, nor condition at any time, even if we agree to arrange for pickup.
