Book a wonderful vacation Up North! Large, welcoming chalet is perched on a wooded hillside overlooking Lake Chetac. Stunning lake views, abundant wildlife & great fishing. Fish house w/water (warm months), electricity, counter, double sink, a freezer and propane heat. Sandy lake bottom at shoreline. Private dock has room for 2 boats. Direct ATV and snowmobile trail access. Please note: must use steps to reach lakeside area of property (see photos). The space The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for preparing meals and snacks. NOTE: Wisconsin law prohibits hosts from providing any type of food/beverage items, even seasonings and coffee, so please bring those items with you. Main level dining table seats 6 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the kitchen island and 4 at the lower level dining table. Our home is over 2,000 square feet and is on three levels. Each level has a bathroom. Most rooms offer wonderful lake views. The main level and the walk-out, fully-finished lower level both have full-length decks where you can relax and enjoy your stay. Our home has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms and will sleep 10 comfortably. Note: Our maximum # of guests is 10, including children and infants. Two family rooms provide plenty of space for gathering, playing games, watching TV and enjoying lake views. Lower level deck has stairs leading down to a big lawn area and the dock. We have ROKU systems and subscribe to Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN+ providing a wide variety of viewing options. Our home is on a paved, dead-end road with limited traffic, so it's a nice place for walks. Although there are other homes nearby, it's a quiet area and the many trees provide a feeling of seclusion and privacy. Property has direct access to trails (ATV/Snowmobile). Applicable to Summer months: Pontoon and fishing boat rental is available nearby, or guests are welcome to bring their own boat/s (room for 2) and park at our private dock. There's an electric plug-in for trolling motors. Guests are welcome to use our 3 sit-on-top kayaks. In the lawn by the lake is a covered fire pit for evening campfires. We provide some long-handled forks for hot dog or marshmallow roasting, and lots of lawn chairs. No boat? Guests can bring in some nice fish while casting right off the dock and clean them in our fish house! A 3-burner Weber gas BBQ grill is provided on the upper level deck. Guest access Entire home except for housekeeper's storage area. Other things to note DOG POLICY: Dogs (up to 2) will be considered/approved based on our pet policy. We charge $20 per dog per night, and this cost is not included in the nightly rate. If you'd like to bring your dog/s with you, we'll provide a copy of our Dog Agreement for your review, completion, signature and return. When approved, you'll be asked to pay the pet charge for the applicable amount. Please message us with any questions or concerns about our policies. Thank you! Please Note: To protect groundwater and lake purity, we have a septic holding tank system rather than a conventional system. We ask guests to practice reasonable water conservation practices when possible.
