If you want to just stay at home, use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare a quick snack or a gourmet meal. Or choose a deep read or light fiction from our library. The choices are endless here at the beach house we call Captains Quarters. The space Our beach house is close to the Indiana Dunes State Park and the Indiana Dunes National Park. You’ll love it because of the views, the high ceilings, and the comfy beds. It is great place for a family with children or a couple looking for a sweet spot to getaway or friends to meet for a reunion. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the entire rental. You will not share it with the host or other guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen for cooking a gourmet meal or a light snack. While the cottage is fully winterized and heated there is also a wood burning stove available. On the spacious deck there is a large table for dining and a charcoal and gas grill for your exclusive use. Other things to note Our rates go up in the summer. There is a 5% innkeeper's tax and a $185 cleaning fee that apply to all stays. There is a 7 night minimum stay in the summer and a 2 night minimum stay in the winter.
