Log Cabin Lodge at Tall Timbers Retreat. Tall Timbers Retreat is only 8 miles from downtown Nacogdoches, which is THE oldest town in Texas. The Log Cabin Lodge has 4 bedrooms and one full bath and one half bath. Nestled among the majestic pine trees, the fully furnished cabin is completely updated and includes all the comforts of home including satellite TV. Sleeping arrangements: 3 spacious bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds. The space Tall Timbers caters to families who enjoy the active lifestyle, but who also like to unwind. Outside your door, 30 wooded acres invite you to explore. Take a walk on the trail. Gather your family and have a day of fun playing sand volleyball, corn-hole, horseshoes, or utilize our on-site baseball/soccer field. Grab a book and take advantage of our many outdoor swings and rocking chairs. Imagine the peaceful and tranquil sounds of nature as you let your troubles fade away with the afternoon breeze. As evening approaches, gather around the bonfire and gaze at the stars while making s'mores. Our crown jewel is Rose Hall. It can accommodate up to 75 seated guest, which makes it ideal for large groups. This is a great place for family meals, group studies, meetings, play ping-pong, piano, or Bingo. Maybe just relax in the rocking chairs playing a game of checkers or catch a movie on our large LCD TV. We are pet friendly!!! Bring your dog from home or your HORSE from the barn (small fee). We have the facilities that they will love. We have HUGE outdoor kennels, stables, fenced pastures and shelter from the weather. We look forward to seeing you at Tall Timbers Retreat. Guest access You get the use of your cabin and the grounds. Rose Hall and other buildings are an extra fee. Rose Hall is generally $400 for the length of the stay.
