Private sandy beach, natural setting, large lawn and cozy porch await! Our cottage and grounds are for our guests to use. We have a couple cupboards (with locks) that hold supplies and we ask that guests do not take blankets that are stored for our next guests in our furniture chests. Our garage and cellar (and contents) are not for guest use. We are not physically around the corner but totally accessible via text and email. Please reach out! Smies Road South is a lovely, picturesque and quiet lane. Many of our neighbors reside in their homes year round, yet the area is peaceful and filled with nature. As we are in a rural setting, a vehicle is necessary. It is possible to get an Uber or Lyft if needed. We are a seasonal property hosting guests May through November. Lake Michigan is a large, cold lake, which is great because on hot summer days, it is "cooler by the lake" as my Grandmother always said. The lake generally warms up later in the summer, but it tends to be chilly. Also, summer in rural Wisconsin may breed mosquitoes, as well as evening light shows put on by lovely fire flies!
