Fabulous lake home 1-1.5 hrs from the Cities. There is an abundance of space, but still warm and cozy. Feels like you are on the water with spectacular lake views from every room. Horseshoe lake is a highly desirable, 400 ac lake, Close to ATV, snowmobile, hiking and cross country trails. The space Welcome to Horseshoe Haven! Enjoy the charm of cabin life, but with all of the modern amenities. Our lake home is open, spacious, light and airy but still feels warm and inviting. Upon entering, you are greeted with breathtaking views of Horseshoe Lake and a feeling that you are on top of the water. The kitchen is open and updated, with rustic industrial farmhouse touches. There is a custom farmhouse table and all of the amenities of a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, toaster, blender, crock pot, pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. The family room is exceptionally comfortable, with a large sectional, two modern club chairs, an entertainment curio that houses a BluRay player, and a 55" tv that allows for relaxation along with extensive windows for gorgeous views of the lake. The cabin has free high-speed Wifi, cable, and multiple Rokus and DVD players. The den has a couch that pulls out into a double bed, chair with ottoman, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, 40" tv and more windows for an expansive view of the lake. Bedroom 1 has a king size log bed with Tuft and Needle mattress, closet and luggage racks. Bedroom 2 has a log bunkbed with Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses (twin over double), a closet and luggage racks. Bedroom 3 has a queen size log bed with a Tempurpedic mattress, log nightstands and log dresser. There is a comfortable chair and tv for relaxing, next to the wall of windows overlooking the lake. This room walks out onto the lakeside patio. The Loft is an amazing spacious area with a custom "bed train" - 3 handmade built-in pine queen beds with Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses. The loft also has another entertaining area with a large sectional with a pull-out queen bed, 40" tv, Playstation, Roku, video games, movies, and a large variety of board games. There is even a custom log poker table and log chairs for your enjoyment! There are two bathrooms - one on the main level and one in the lower level, both with showers. Hairdryer and plush towels included. Outdoors - The deck has chairs overlooking the lake and is a relaxing place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening while watching the sunset. We have a top-of-the-line gas Weber grill and an old-fashioned charcoal grill. The walkout level has a patio with a custom made farmhouse table with benches and several extra chairs for seating. There is also a large wicker sectional with thick, comfortable cushions and a coffee table. A relaxing hammock from Key West hangs by the water's edge - a perfect place for an afternoon nap! The yard is perfect to play yard games such as corn hole, ladder golf, bocce ball or yard Yahtzee (we have all of these games available for you to use). There are comfortable Adirondack chairs and hand-hewn log benches around a fire pit. Gathering around a camp fire, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories is where so many memories are made! Horseshoe Lake is one of the most desirable lakes in the area. It is 400 acres in size, the water is clean (clarity of lakes can change depending on weather, time of year, etc) and the lake is deep, making it excellent for boating, skiing, tubing, swimming and fishing. A floating swim raft increases the fun for kids and adults alike. Access to a paddle boat (pedal boat), canoe, three kayaks, two standup paddle boards and a 20 foot Lily Pad included (seasonally). A pontoon boat is an absolute necessity in order to fully enjoy the lake. We have a gorgeous, deluxe Bennington G series pontoon boat available for rental for an additional charge. It has plush sectional couch seating, club chairs, two tables, a Bimini top, premier sound system and lighting, live well for fishing, ladder for swimming, tanning deck, and a 115 hp Yamaha motor - all the bells and whistles! Our cabin is located on an ATV-friendly road and it's only a straight, 2-mile shot to get to hundreds of miles of Wisconsin's awesome connecting ATV trails! The snowmobile trail is just outside our door on the lake, which also connects to hundreds of miles of winter trail-riding paradise! Polk County license #76841 Guest access Guests have access to the house (not the garages or the laundry room). Access to a canoe, a paddle boat, three kayaks and two standup paddle boards included (seasonally). Access to the pontoon boat is only through a separate rental fee and contract. We do have a dryer that guests can use to dry swim suits, wet mittens, etc. Please note that guests do not have access to a washing machine. Other things to note Occupancy regulations are set by the State of Wisconsin and Polk County. Occupancy refers to the number of people on the property at any given time and all visitors must be included in your occupancy total. Please note we use exterior security cameras to monitor the parking area/entrance and the above is strictly enforced, offenders will be evicted without a refund. Our cancellation policy is strict. We encourage our guests to obtain travel insurance (“Cancel For Any Reason” insurance, which would include COVID pandemic), so that in the case of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, family emergency, or other scheduling conflict you are covered. We do not refund or make exceptions to our policy.
