Casa de la Piedra is a cozy cottage made of stone and attached to our family home. It is located just a few blocks up from the heart of downtown Flagstaff. This is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to check out the downtown scene and be walking distance to great restaurants, shops, events and more. The space includes a bedroom and a small kitchen with all of the essentials that expands into the living room area. The cottage is attached to our family home, so quiet hours are from 9 pm on. The space This is a perfect spot for solo travelers, couples, 2-3 friends and families of three. It is a small space with a separate bedroom, but no door (just a doorway) separating the bedroom from the rest of the unit. Our one quirky feature is that the cottage has only one sink - the one in the kitchen, which means that is where teeth are brushed. However, there is a full tub and shower. :) The couch is a convertible sofa, which makes it more like a futon sleeper where the back folds down to become a full bed. During the summer, we have a portable AC unit in the living space and an overhead fan in the bedroom to help cool down the cottage. There are spectacular trails, hiking and biking opportunities surrounding our central location. After hitting the trails, cozy up on our blue velvet couch and relax watching TV or reading a book before heading downtown for some delicious food.
