Retire to luxury king/queen/twin with cotton linens (plus sofa/crib) and plenty of extra pillows! Pets and children welcome (it's pretty but I'm a Mom of 2 little boys- so let's be real- it's also practical/ mostly not breakable). NEW fully fenced backyard just installed. Beautiful vintage home, Great location convenient to everything- 2 blocks from the main drag and a straight shot to the caverns. Walk to dinner and have a few drinks! One bedroom has a king bed plus twin size daybed, one has a queen size plus twin daybed, and third bedroom has a single twin. Great setup for couples, families with kids, etc. The main bathroom still has the vintage bathtub and tile with a new double vanity. The half bath is next to the laundry room/ kitchen/ back door. There is a sectional sofa in the living room that can also be slept on in a pinch, and we offer a pack n play too. The TV has Amazon prime/ Roku/use your netflix login but no cable shows. We provide everything you need for a comfortable short or long term stay, including fresh towels, clean cotton bedding, shampoo/ conditioner/body wash/ dish soap/ laundry detergent.... etc. Washer and Dryer for guest use (see...Mom of 2 boys) Hosts live close by and we are happy to answer questions, suggest activities or restaurants, or help out if you have any issues. Thank you for checking out the Geode! Guests have access to the whole 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom property, plus the carport, backyard patio and outdoor area with clothesline, and front yard. The back yard is now fully fenced! All yards are currently dirt but we are trying to improve that despite our poor gardening abilities. Note*** the big side yard/ empty lot next door is not our property. We give our guests their space, via a keypad check in process, but if you need anything we live about 4 blocks away, and we love to feel needed! The neighborhood is sort of average for Carlsbad. We are a couple blocks south of the Library and City Hall, within walking distance of restaurants and the "downtown" area. Our street has some rundown homes, but our neighbors are friendly and the location is very convenient. Bring a car! Don't try to walk/ bus from El Paso it's a long trip! We have a security camera on the front and back entrances just to keep an eye on arrivals/ departures. There are stairs up to the front door and out the back. The back patio is uneven flagstones, so please be careful!
