Huge porch, wifi/hot tub, outdoor shower. Downtown services (2miles) and the Park (3 miles), (now designated an International Dark Sky Park). You will find tranquility with amazing views from this cozy home. Great for couples, new families, solo adventurers, artist, writers, photographers and business travelers. Wildlife corridors from the park sends amazing critters to view from our comfortable 840 sqft. 1 bedroom 1 and 1/2 bath house. The house is a former homestead cabin which has been added onto over the years. It sits on semi rural 2 1/2 beautiful acres w Joshua trees, cholla and other Mojave natives. Enjoy an extra large serene covered patio with an outdoor fire pit, and beautiful views to the North and East. In back is an outdoor shower, jacuzzi and views of the scenic mountains to the South. Kickback, unplug,and start slowing down to enjoy this superior high desert experience!. We have a fully stocked kitchen, dining table with seating for 6, living room Smart TV with stereo system, w/Bluetooth, turntable w/ vintage Vinyl and HD TV/ Blu-Ray/DVD player, queen sleigh bed in the bedroom, 1 couch, 1 love seat, new queen sleeper( memory foam),1 queen air mattress (Beauty Rest, 10 comfort level) for living room, it will be tight quarters when sleeping 6. 1 full bath in house and 1 half bath in garage and an outdoor shower. Washer and dryer too. You have total access to the property, including the garage, and Jacuzzi, washer and dryer, bbq grill, outdoor fireplace and wood supplied. The Visitor Center at Park Blvd. and Hwy 62 is very helpful in planning your visit - hiking, driving, climbing, etc... We have a few hiking and climbing guides at the house. Please return them when you leave. Dining: Downtown Joshua Tree near Park Blvd. has some excellent to decent dining options. Pie for the People (outstanding pizza), Sisters (vegetarian), and the Mexican take-out next to it are good too. Saturdays, don't miss the farmers market in Joshua Tree! Sam's Liquor has some groceries. Groceries: Yucca Valley, 6 miles from the house, has big box stores and groceries. Attractions: Pioneer Town, and Pappy & Harriet's (food & music), is interesting and fun . In Landers, the Integratron Sound Bath needs a reservation and Gubler's Orchid farm we are told is worth a visit. On the way, La Copine is an excellent restaurant. The Joshua Tree Park Visitor Center, (2 miles from house) have helpful staff and can make your stay even more enjoyable.
