Guest access Guest Access & Safety As a guest at Casa San Miguelito, the entire home is at your disposal, including the upstairs attic loft bedroom—a true WOW factor. This space has a deadbolt for safety and is only accessible to guests who have paid a special rate and signed a waiver agreement. For safety reasons, no food, drinks, or pets are allowed in the attic loft. The front courtyard fencing is partially original and purely decorative—it cannot support weight. Guests are advised to exercise care around all fences and stairs on the property. The backyard has been fully renovated and fenced, providing a safe outdoor space. However, pets should not climb the terraced backyard, as the broken concrete can be hazardous. Pets must also be walked off-property for bathroom needs. Other things to note Fees, Rates, and Rental Conditions Please review the following information carefully before making an inquiry or submitting a reservation request. Rates & Fees: • Rates are subject to change based on number of nights, use of attic bedroom loft, number of guests, peak vs. non-peak dates, holidays, Spring/Winter breaks, Central Coast/Cal Poly special events, or inclusion of pets. • Pet Fee: This is a per-pet fee (not a deposit) and is non-refundable. Fees vary by size and age: o Under 26 lbs: $250 o 26+ lbs / Puppies: $300 o 50+ lbs: $350 • Holiday Reservations: Major holidays may require a 3–4 night minimum stay at a higher holiday rate. • Event/Gathering Fee: Outside guests entering the property without prior written authorization may incur a fee of $500–$3,500, depending on month and type of event. • Visitors & Vehicles: Non-booked visitors are not allowed on the premises without prior written authorization for liability and safety reasons. Only authorized, registered guest vehicles are allowed on site. • Cleaning Fee: This is a non-refundable fee, not a deposit, and varies by number of guests and season: o 2–4 guests, Non-Peak Season: $350-$500 o 5–6 guests, Peak Season: $700-$900 o Unregistered guests on the property will incur an additional $200 cleaning fee. Cleaning is conducted in compliance with WHO and CDC guidelines for COVID-19. • County Vacation Tax: An additional 14% applies.
