The space This classic (built in 1896), charming property is just a little over a short block and a half from the beach! Historic with a wide array of beautiful antique furniture, amenities include a stunning claw-foot tub, an authentic Gaffers & Sattler stove, and THE most luxurious queen beds and bedding – to add a touch of comfort and elegance to your escape from the hustle and bustle. While the beach is close, there are many things to do, including a nearby championship golf course, amazing mineral spas, local wine tasting, hiking and biking, the Central Coast Aquarium, the Point San Luis Lighthouse museum and more! Or you can choose to relax and cozy up with a glass of wine and a book in your front courtyard. Casa San Miguelito is just a block and half from the Avila Beach Pier, and even closer to great restaurants and shopping, indulgent local ice cream, plus yummy wine and tea tasting. On Fridays during the summer, you won't want to miss the Farmer’s Market that includes live bands, goat cheese, lavender and pampering products, great tri-tip and fish tacos, and much more! Guest access As a Guest at Casa San Miguelito, the entire home is at your disposal except for the upstairs attic area which has a deadbolt on the door for safety reasons. This space can only be used by guests who have paid a special rate and signed a waiver agreement. Also, no food/drinks of any kind or pets may be taken to the attic. Also, Casa San Miguelitos' fencing around the front courtyard is, in part, original, and it is purely decorative. Therefore, please note that it cannot hold any weight. Guests are advised to take care around all fences and stairs on the property. Lastly, the backyard is currently has just been renovated, so it is now completely fenced in. However, we respectfully ask that pets do not climb the terraced backyard, as it is made of broken concrete and can be dangerous. Additionally, pets must be walked off property to defecate. Other things to note Fees, Rates and Rental Conditions detail information are all noted in the "House Rules" on this site as well as below. Please review that prior to making an inquiry or sending a "Reservation Request". Fees and Rates: - Rates & Fees are subject to change due to number of nights, Peak vs. Nonpeak dates, number of people with use of the attic bedroom, Holiday's, Spring/Winter Break, Central Coast/Cal Poly special events, or inclusion of pets. - The Pet Fee is a per-pet fee and is based on breed, age and weight. It is a fee, rather than a deposit, and therefore, is non-refundable. Pet Fee (less than 26 lbs) $250 / (26+ lbs/Puppies) $300 / and (50+ lbs) $350. - Major Holiday Reservations may require 4-night minimum at higher Holiday Rate. - There is an Event/Gathering Fee (i.e., outside guests that enter property without prior, written authorization by owner), depending on the type of event and/or gathering, ranging from $500-$3,500 (depending of month and type of event and/or gathering). - Non-booked visitors are not allowed on the premises at any time without prior, written authorization by owner due to liability and health & safety reasons. Similarly, only authorized, registered guest vehicles are allowed on the premises. - Our Cleaning Fee is a fee, and not a deposit, therefore, it is non-refundable and varies depending on the number of guests: 2-4 & NON PEAK SEASON is $700; 5-6 & PEAK SEASON is $900. Any unregistered guests on the premises will precipitate a $200 additional cleaning fee that is the responsibility of the registered guest. Cleaning is done in compliance with World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for COVID-19. - An additional 14% county vacation tax
