This is a 3-story townhouse that was the model unit, so no expense was spared on the details. We are close to many good restaurants/bars & less than a mile from downtown Raleigh. We are 200' from the Merrimon Wynne house and about 200 yards from the governors mansion, so a very safe part of town. The space All are welcome! This is an 1800 sq. ft. townhouse located in the Oakwood district of Raleigh. There are 10' ceilings and an open floorplan that feels spacious and comfortable. Colette and I love to travel and the over-all bedding set-up is at the top of our list, we got turned onto Comfy Earth bedding that offers a fiber based bamboo sleeping experience, second to none. Colette and I have been Airbnb Super-hosts for 4 years now and have had over 2000 different travelers pass thru our various Airbnbs in these last 10 years. To date, we have had no valid complaints or cancellations and only 1 4-star review, the rest being 5-star reviews.. We also have a 2-car garage. You can find our other two properties on this Airbnb platform if this one doesn't fit for you: If you decide to rent from us, we try to get people in early on the day of and you can usually check out late. We have just listed this property for 1-night stays during the week and because it is only for 1 night, our fee would be $525. We do try for 2-nite rentals on the weekends but if not rented, we may open it up for a 1 nite rentals. Both of us had been wanting to be B&B owners earlier in our lives and it morphed into this Airbnb experience for us. One of our properties was rated as the No. 1 home out of 466 in this area for two years running on the other large home vacation rental site which cannot be named here but starts with a "V" and ends with an "O". "Service animals" that are hypo-allergenic and smaller than 15 lbs. are OK, I have an allergy to most dogs, i.e, German Shepherds, Retreivers, Labs, so Airbnb has granted us a medical exemption so those types of dogs are not allowed in our properties. Other things to note We have an active Airbnb on the lower floor which is completely private but we do ask that you take your shoes off so as not to disturb them later at nite.
