Description
The cabin was built by missionaries in 1938 and later purchased by Flagstaff cabinet maker Stuart Houston—hence the name Houston House. Andrew and Stefanie bought the home in 2007 and restored it, preserving the original hardwood floors. This is a historic cabin meant for relaxing, not parties. Owners live nearby and may drive by. Extra guests will be charged $100 per person. The space Sleeping Arrangements • Master bedroom – King-size memory foam bed • Second bedroom – Queen-size bed • Living room – Futon with full-size mattress Both beds include down comforters, bedspreads, and a variety of pillows. Extra blankets and sheets are available in the closet. A portable crib with a sheet and a high chair are also available for families traveling with young children. Kitchen & Amenities The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy your stay. Towels and washcloths are provided, along with shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Outside you’ll find a grill, fire pit, and plenty of seating on the front patio. The home is well insulated and has central heat. The fireplace is decorative only and is not available for use.
