Founded in 1877 The Sam'l Hill Hardware Company was destroyed along with the rest of Whiskey Row on Montezuma Street during the infamous Prescott Fire. Our kitchen provides all your needs for homecooking. The dining table is a perfect work space as well, with a marvelous view of granite boulders outside of the window. The laundry mudroom can be used as a separate entrance for grocery unloading. The driveway has plenty of room for two vehicles; no street parking needed. You will be given instructions on where to find the hidden key. If you have a night time arrival, please let us know so we can turn on proper lighting. A guest book with information including wifi will be on the kitchen table. The owner is readily available to answer questions or concerns. Located in the heart of one of Prescott's historic districts, Sam Hill's Cottage is close to the town square as well as several biking trails and is a short walk to the fairground of "Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo". Keen Street is quiet and peaceful. Whether your destination is mountain trail or the town square, you are located in the perfect spot. Location, location, location. Many bike trails are accessible from the cottage, either via biking or a short drive. The Prescott area is a hub for biking most of the year, with "The Whiskey Off-Road" as April's big biking event. "Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo" occurs during the week of the 4th of July, claiming to be the "World's Oldest Rodeo" and the fairground is an easy walking distance.
