Other things to note We are on a natural lake and there can be in wetlands area across the street or in any uncleared brush snakes, spiders, snapper turtles, alligator across the bridge, hawks, eagles, raccoons, etc. No real danger but occasionally for a couple days usually in spring or early summer, mom alligator will come and drop off a baby alligator off every couple years, stats with it a couple days then leaves. Baby tends to be about 3’ to max 3.5’ when this happens, is too small to be issue, can still only eat max size bullfrogs, kind of fun to watch, but then normally leaves as well within a few weeks cuz too much activity from us. Parks & Wildlife and licensed trappers both said to leave them alone when this small, just do what we do because most the little one can do is eat bullfrog and will leave to find different home if we keep up our activities. And after 8 years we see this is correct.
