The space This house had a complete renovation in 2019 that features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and family room. A two-story deck facing the water, a stocked game room with an adjacent TV room, and a dock complete with crab pots, fishing poles, and a fish cleaning station. You'll have access to 3 kayaks, a paddleboard, and life vests for all. Oh, and the fire pit on the waterfront cannot be beat. Here at the Bundick Cottage on the Coan river, located in the Northern Neck of Virginia you’ll be greeted with blueberry muffins and farm-fresh eggs. Relax and enjoy the ever-changing views, fishing and crabbing off the dock, kayaking down Mill Creek, watching the diamonds sparkle on the water, cooking hotdogs on the open fire pit, gazing at endless stars in the dark night, and most importantly spending time with your family and friends building memories that will last a lifetime. If you fancy an outing while you visit, we have binders with information on local points of interest and area restaurants available. Learn the history of the area at various museums. Find quaint shops and seasonal activities as well. We have two breweries and various wineries within 45 minutes for local tastings. All seasons lend themselves to a relaxing getaway! Each with its own local festivities as well. Fall brings panoramic views of changing foliage with mild temps and cool evenings perfect for a fire. Come hang out during Winter to unwind and get a change of scenery. Bring on the flowers in Spring with more mild temps and bonfires all day long. The ability to swim starts in April, do I hear spring break or long weekend plans?! With Summer come the fish and crabs, lazy days with a kayak ride, or enjoying the water out on the rentable floating island. No matter the time of year you will not be disappointed! The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. A master suite includes one of those full baths with a king size bed and room to use the provided pack and play. There's a bunkroom with 2 bunks, one with a trundle to pull out if needed. This room has a small TV with a DVD player hooked up to watch movies, no cable. We do have a small library of movies available. Lastly the third room has a queen size bed with access to the deck! The second bathroom is in the hallway with the later two bedrooms described. The downstairs living space has a big screen TV which is hooked up to cable and a DVD player. The large sectional has a pull out couch if an additional bed is needed. The game room is complete with ping-pong, foosball, puzzles and a card table. We also have ladderball and corn hole to enjoy out back. There is a collection of games, books, and movies for all. A charging station is provided upstairs for any device you may have. WiFi log-in information is posted on the fridge. If traveling with young children we do have a high chair and booster chair available for use at the kitchen table. All adults, those over 18, will need to sign a rental agreement and a $250 security deposit via check is required upon arrival. The guest in which the agreement is drawn up for must be 25 or older. We also have a strict no pet and no party policy. There will be a $300 per person per night charge if our 8 guest (excluding children under 2) limit is exceeded. Parking available for 3 cars.
