Chasin' Surf is located in south Topsail Beach and is surrounded by live oak trees with private beach access and provides a tropical feel. The house is a 2nd row house that has private deeded beach access right across the street and is said to have some of the best ocean views for a house not right on the beach. After a day on the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower in privacy. Shopping and dining are only a few miles down the road in the town of Topsail Beach. Chasin' Surf is a secluded, private 4 bedroom beach house nestled in the live oak trees in Topsail Beach, NC has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable visit to the coast, including private beach access. There are 3 lovely bedrooms each with a queen size bed plus a cozy room for the kids that has two single beds. Two large decks (one on the first floor secluded within the live oak trees and one on the second floor with spectacular views of the ocean) allow ample space to stretch out and eat, drink, read or just relax while watching the sun rise and enjoying the ocean breeze. There is a Caribbean style outdoor shower on the ground floor that is available during the warm months. Once you step one foot in it, we guarantee you won't shower inside the rest of your stay. The house has private beach access right across the street so it takes 1.5 minutes to walk to the beach. Overall this is a nature lover's paradise. Being nestled in the live oak trees feels like being in a tropical rainforest. You won't be disappointed. When you rent this house, you are entitled to enjoy all of it with the exception of an owners closet and a storage shed in the car port. Once you book a reservation, you will be provided an access code to use on the keyless key pad to get into the house when you arrive. We won't bother you while you are enjoying your vacation unless you have a problem. We are always available if something comes up. This is a quiet neighborhood surrounded by truly wonderful people. The surrounding houses are occupied by full time residents that are always willing to help. A public access to the sound side of the island is located on Nixon St (one block from the house) to launch kayaks, etc. Access to the beach is literally right across the street and it might take you one and a half minutes to walk to the beach...maybe two minutes if you have to wait to cross the street. Rented by the week during peak season (Memorial Day Wknd - Labor Day Wknd), 3 night minimum off-season (Oct - May). Rates vary with seasons and holidays. Check calendar for specific rates. NOTE: WE RENT OUR PROPERTY ON A LONG-TERM BASIS OCTOBER - MARCH AT A RATE OF $1,650 PER MONTH. PLEASE CONTACT US IF INTERESTED. No smoking or pets permitted anywhere on the property. No parties. Outdoor shower is only available in-season as it is winterized during the cold months. Note: Linens/sheets are provided. We provide enough toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels to get you started. You will need to purchase any additional amounts needed once you arrive. Bath/hand/dish soap is also provided. A note about taxes and fees so there are no surprises: Accommodation Taxes The Town of Surf City and Pender County require a 6% Accommodation Tax on all vacation rentals, which is collected from renters and paid by your host to the City and County each month. A portion of this tax goes to beach nourishment projects to help keep Surf City beaches beautiful, sustainable and secure so that you may enjoy them for generations to come. These will be listed as Occupancy Taxes and will include Pender General Sales and Use Tax, North Carolina General Sales and Use Tax, Pender Accommodations Tax, Surf City Accommodations Tax.
