Welcome to the Birds Nest at Pecan Grove Estates. This tiny guest house is nestled at the rear of the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Pecan Grove Main House. Elevated in the tree canopy, this guesthouse has a studio bedroom, half bath downstairs, sitting area, bar dinning, and kitchen as well as a full bathroom upstairs. It is within walking distance to the San Antonio river, historic San Jose Missions, grocery, and pharmacy. This space comes with 1 parking space within the gated grounds. Less than a 1.5 miles from the historic San Jose Missions, the San Antonio river, Biking/Walking trails as well as the vessel drop in point for kayaking down the river. Less than 5 miles to downtown San Antonio and Riverwalk. A short drive to Southtown, the Pearl Brewery, and shopping. **SEE OUR OTHER SPACES LOCATED ON SAME PROPERTY BY CLICKING ON HOST PHOTO** Enjoy the Bird's Nest located on the grounds of the Pecan Grove Estate as well as the swimming pool, patio, wisteria arbor, and a large backyard. There is also access to washer & dryer upon request. POOL IS SHARED BY MAIN HOUSE AND GUEST HOUSES **THERE ARE NO OUTSIDE GUESTS ALLOWED** ***LOCAL RESIDENTS ARE UNABLE TO STAY OR BOOK*** ***STRICT NO PETS*** We live in the main house on the property, available to answer any questions you have regarding the area, shopping,dinning, etc.; however we prefer to allow our guests their own space. This space is near three major highways which make commuting to other parts of the city quite simple. Distance to (driving): The Alamo: 10-15 minutes San Antonio International Airport - 15-20 minutes Fiesta Texas: 25-30 minutes Sea World: 25-30 minutes Lackland AFB: 15-20 minutes Fort Sam Houston: 15-20 minutes San Jose Mission: 5 minutes (15 to walk) River Bike Trails (Near Kayak Drop): 5-7 minutes (20-30 to walk) Spiral staircase to upstairs bathroom is quite compact. Guests as tall as 6'3" have used stairs with no issue but please note it is quite narrow and steep.
