Ft home located in historical Pet friendly $50 per day. Wawona inside Yosemite National Park. 5 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms sleep up to 6 guests comfortably. This Cabin has been owned by the Bassett Family for sixty years. In 1997 the family donated Wawona Bassett Memorial Library to the community. There are stores close by to get any essentials needed during your stay. With 5 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms your party of up to 6 guests will sleep comfortably. Downstairs in the first bedroom is a queen size bed. Next to that bedroom is a full bathroom. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, two with two twin beds and two rooms with two full size beds. There is another full bathroom on this level. The upstairs bedrooms have individually controlled electric hydronic floor heaters (great for allergies), each room has a ceiling fan. Downstairs heat is a gas wall heater controlled by the thermostat on the wall. The living room hosts a wood burning fireplace and wood is not provided during burn season. Enjoy a bbq on the weber propane grill or relax on the deck and enjoy the sounds of the Merced River, just a short walk away. Cool off in the river on hot summer days, one of the top three natural swimming holes on the South Fork of the Merced River is a five minute walk from the back of the property. In the detached garage you will find a ping pong table, an extra refrigerator so you can stock up on food and a washer and dryer (detergent provided). The Bassett’s Cabin is your home away from home and the perfect base for your Yosemite vacation. Guest access There are 4 parking spots at Bassett's cabin Other things to note There are no early checkin's nor dropping off items before checkin. We appreciate you not asking and understanding. Our housekeepers have limited time preparing homes this size, it's not like a hotel room. There are no late checkouts as well, if you need more time, it's best to reserve the extra night ahead of time, for the flexibility. Thank you!
