Welcome to Frank's Place on Inverness Ridge, a classic Inverness retreat surrounded by nature with panoramic bay views. With spacious living and sleeping areas, an outdoor hot tub, and a spectacular natural setting, it's the perfect Point Reyes lodging for families, small groups, or couples. Frank's Place has become a beloved getaway from many return guests! The space This classic Inverness style home was designed and built by local architect Jim Campe in 1986. The living room, bedrooms, decks and hot tub all face out over forested parkland to Tomales Bay and the hills beyond. In the main living area wood and tile floors and high, beamed ceilings create an expansive and elegant atmosphere, while clearstory windows capture the afternoon sun. Just down the hall, the carpeted master suite features a king-size bed and large private bathroom with two sinks, giant tub and walk-in shower. Downstairs are two additional bedrooms with a shared second bathroom. A queen-size bed and TV in one of the bedrooms make it great for a second couple. The other is just right for kids, with two twin beds. A large inflatable mattress is also available if needed. Step out onto the downstairs porch to access the private hot tub. An additional office room upstairs includes a sofa/daybed that can be made up for yet another sleeping option. WiFi from a cable Internet connection is available throughout, and there is a smart tv in the living room. CDs, games, puzzles, art and many books are here for your enjoyment. Guest access The entire house is yours. Other things to note The driveway has parking for two cars, three if the others get blocked in. There are 12 steps leading down from the driveway to the front door. The house is heated by a central boiler system. In cold weather the heat will be turned on before you arrive. Space heaters are also available. The living room has a fireplace, and plenty of firewood is available.
