The Roney Guest House - An Antique Home with Charm & Character that guests call "The Haven"! It is both a place of rest, peace & tranquility & a place for families & friends to gather for fun & adventure! East Entrance of Yellowstone! *Superhost City of Cody STR-C-013-R2-0-S The space This Spacious Victorian-style home filled with antiques and historic decor, has 4 bedrooms, 1 King bed, 2 Queen beds, 2 Twin daybeds, 1 Full Antique bed, 1 iron Bunkbed; 3.5 bathrooms; and we also provide air mattresses, a toddler bed and 3 Infant Play & Packs; based on your needs. Perfect for a family vacation, reunions, wedding parties or 4 couples traveling together on their summer vacation! In this 3700 sq. ft. 2-story home, guests have access to a large kitchen with a ranch-style stove with double ovens, dishwasher, fridge, toaster oven, rice cooker, mixer, pots & pans, dishes, glassware - pretty much everything you need! (No microwave). Washer and dryer are also available in the laundry room for free guest use. Guests also have access to a living area, dining room, 1/2 bathroom on the main floor, and there is a large office space with 2 desks available. You may also use the back patio with large bbq grill, as well as the front yard and porch with porch swing. This Country-Victorian house is in a pretty little neighborhood with Parks & Tennis Courts in the area - and is only 1 mile from Downtown Cody where all the extra fun begins! To top it off, the Cody Recreation Center has a fabulous gym, running track, basketball courts and beautiful pools for children and for swimming laps! Guests have their own Kitchen Counter stocked with a Keurig Coffee Maker; Electric Tea Pot; Organic Coffee & Tea; Purified Water; Organic Fruit & Organic Eggs! Guests are allowed to park in front of the house, as there is room for approximately 4 cars. You are also welcome to park behind the garage in back by entering through the alley to the back driveway. The home has multiple solar-powered, motion-detector lights in the front of the house as you unpack your cars in the dark. It is very well lit! June through September, guests are enchanted with the beautiful flowers and 2 Gazebos that grace the front yard for guests who love sitting on a long relaxing porch! You may also enjoy the bunnies playing in the yard and the deer who roam through! **Each bedroom is available for private room rent. (See also Darling Duchess, Royal Splendor, Knights Quarters and Victorian King Rooms) Although, you could fit more guests into the home than 10, this is the legal limit the City of Cody has established. Thank you for honoring this number of guests. * This charming house is a home. It was built in 1966. I have owned the home since the year 2001 and raised my children here as a single mother. It's one of my amazing "miracles" and a true treasure to my family. We worked hard to remodel everything we could and make it charming! We actually had no idea it would become a Guest House and we could share it with you until 2 weeks before we opened in 2015! So, please be grateful when you come to stay. It's not perfect and it's never finished. Ha! There is always something to improve! But, we are extremely kind and generous - and we want the house to be your home while you are here! So, we do everything to make it a special and unique experience for you! We hope you will soak up the love and the charm and feel it is "home" for your Cody moments - as you make memories with your loved ones! *Very Important before renting. Please note that the City of Cody requires that this guest rental is my Primary Residence. We are NOT allowed to own a guest rental for investment purposes - it must be where we live. This is my home. *When you rent the entire home, I do Not stay on the property. It’s for you! We have emptied all dressers for you and all closets to give you - our guests - as much space as possible. The office is my personal "domain." The decor & the antiques are part of the charm and why the home is so popular. If you love the photos, you will love the home, as they are accurate. One room may have dolls or animals - another swords and "guy stuff". These thrill most of our guests as they have also thrilled my family throughout the years. *Please note that years and thousands of dollars of remodeling of this "older" home is an ongoing process. The Victorian King Master Bathroom Shower has not yet been remodeled and the kitchen has not yet been remodeled. As a single mom, it has been a slow process. Again, please stay with us if you can look past what isn't new and enjoy the house as it is - with all it's charm, beauty & love! Recent speed tests measured 225–247 Mbps download and 22–32 Mbps upload, providing an excellent connection for work, entertainment, and multiple devices.
