Enjoy the best of Muskoka. Our family friendly cottage is located on 200' of lakefront on beautiful Lake Muskoka. Nestled among traditional Muskoka pine trees, you will enjoy the view of the lake from the kitchen, living room, dining room and Primary bedroom. Relax in the cottage, on the lakefront deck, on the huge 900 sq.ft dock, or in the lakeside gazebo. Day guests must vacate the property by 8pm. Not suitable for party weekends. Primary renter must be a minimum of 25 years of age. The space This is a four season cottage, on a municipal maintained road., and is accessible year round. We are within a 2 hour drive from the GTA. The cottage offers a huge dock. and a deck along the front of the cottage, that allows you to enjoy the expansive view of Lake Muskoka. There are 8 colourful Muskoka chairs on the dock, so that you can relax and take in the view and listen to the pine trees sing to you in the wind. On the deck, there is a patio dining set with seating for 8, as well as a bistro set off the Primary bedroom. The deck has a gate at the stairs, so that children can play in an enclosed area while adults can relax. A screened in gazebo along the lakeside allows you to experience the outdoors day and night without worrying about flies. There is a half acre to enjoy: the lawn on the road side has room for a game of horseshoes, as well as a children's play centre. The open floor plan and cathedral ceiling allows you to enjoy the view of the lake from the living room, dining room and kitchen. All bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linens are provided. We provide a well stocked kitchen. As well, we provide the firewood to enjoy at the lakeside fire pit. There is always a full propane tank for the BBQ. This is a family friendly cottage, and is not suitable for party weekends. In the off season ( October through to June) the cottage rents for a minimum of 2 nights. The off season rate is set for 2 adults ( children under 16 stay for free). There is an " Extra Guest Fee" for other adults that stay at the cottage. This allows us to keep the fee reasonable for a couple or family looking to get away for a short time. The cottage can accommodate up to 7 adults. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the cottage, the 200 feet of waterfront, the dock, and the surrounding property. The garage at the entrance to the driveway is not included in the rental. Other things to note Valid photo identification will be required of all guests entering the property. All confirmed reservations require a signed contract with the host.
