We will have treats and instructions on how to feed them in the cottage. Do not run up to them, as they may think you are a predator! For the same reason we do not accept pets/dogs - they are potential predators to our piglets. Angel and Lulu live in our house and have access to the backyard at all times. When the weather is not to their liking, they use a litter box located in our laundry room. They love being warm and often will nap outside in very warm weather otherwise they are staying warm under many blankets inside the main house on a comfy bed. We rescued a "Pomsky" puppy name Josie (JoJo) in December 2022, she is well trained and friendly and she will also have access to the backyard. Let us know if you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary for a little extra special attention. During your stay be sure to ask us about making reservations for an authentic Amish Dinner at an Amish Home. We are 1/4 mile from Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Service Animals  We want your trip to be as pleasant and memorable as possible . If you have a service animal, we ask that you please consider the following and be respectful to our pets and home.  Our pigs do not live on a farm protected in a pen, they have happy lives free roaming in our yard and have access to the yard at all times.  Dogs are a potential predator to pigs or can easily spook them including service dogs. Our dog Josie may have an issue with dogs larger than her and/or become protective of the yard and Angel and Lulu.  Our borough limits guests to 4 adults, not including children under 12. If you are bringing a service animal, you must be the one booking and please let us know prior to booking.  We ask that the dog stays on a lease at all times.  Please pick up droppings in the yard.  While on the premises the service animal stays indoors during the entire visit and does not lay on the furniture and beds.  Our cottage also serves as housing for patients receiving medical treatment at a facility nearby who also may have pet allergies.   If the service animal needs to lay next to you, please bring a blanket or covering for them to lay on.   Thank you for your consideration and we are looking forward to meeting and hosting you!
