It is close enough to major roads for convenience, yet far enough away to enjoy quiet evenings, open skies, and gorgeous sunsets behind the mountains. The apartment is located above a single-family home and offers a completely private guest space. The space One of the highlights of the property is the pond, where guests can fish using our provided fishing poles. Fishing is catch and release only, helping us preserve the pond for future guests. Spend time on the water with the raft or paddleboat, feed the ducks, or end the evening around the firepit with firewood provided. It is a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and take in the quiet beauty of the countryside. Our home has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 9, with a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and all amenities. The apartment sits above our personal home but offers complete privacy. Bedroom 1 features a king bed and smart TV, making it a comfortable primary bedroom for relaxing at the end of the day. Bedroom 2 includes a queen bed, work area, and a smart TV, making it a great option for guests who need a quiet place to read, work, or get ready for the day. Bedroom 3 is a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds, ideal for children, families, or additional guests. The living room provides a comfortable place to gather, watch TV, relax, and unwind after a day exploring the area. The space is furnished and tastefully updated for an easy, comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with everyday essentials for preparing meals, snacks, coffee, and tea. Guests will have access to standard appliances, cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave. The apartment also includes a full bathroom with double sinks, a full-size shower/tub combination, a private toilet room, and a stackable washer and dryer for guest convenience. Guest access Guests can enjoy the comfort and privacy of their own furnished apartment while still having access to the scenic shared outdoor areas of the property. Guests have independent use of the private apartment, including the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining/living areas, and in-unit washer and dryer. Outdoor areas such as the patio, barbecue area, yard, dock, paddleboat, fishing pond, and firepit are shared spaces and may be enjoyed respectfully during your stay. Other things to note The Retreat is intended to be your home while you are here. We provide all your linens, towels, cooking utensils and pans, plates, cups and glasses. All paper goods, soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided. We have supplied you with coffee, tea, sugar and cream to help start your mornings off right. There is wood, kindling, and fire starters down by the fire pit for you to enjoy. The barbecue is conveniently located, with all the tools you may need stored below. For your fun and relaxation, we have lawn games, you are welcome to drop your line in the pond, or take the duck food that is supplied and go meet our flock. Our desire while you are is for you to “feel at home”. We strive to make your stay here as pleasant as possible.
