Our Pond House is on the shore of one of the most beautiful ponds you can imagine, in the center of our 600 acre farm. Great for young families. Fishing, swimming hole, trails, horses, cows, wildlife, rope swings, hot tub, Game Barn, peace & quiet. A number of state citation bass have been caught and released from the pond, and the cane-pole fishing is great as well. 35 min. to Monticello, 15 min. to Montpelier; 6 wineries; Great restaurants. The space The Pond House is great for families with children. The pond is full of fish and we can provide the gear. Horses out the front door; frogs, birds, turtles & fishes out the back door. 600 acres of woods and fields to roam. 30 minutes to Charlottesville, Monticello, Culpeper. 15 minutes to Madison's Montpelier. Screened back porch to sit out and listen to night noises. "Game barn" has ping pong, pool, corn hole, other games. Book our Hot Tub Patio, with its corn hole and other games, fire pit and mountain vistas. No charge, but you must schedule your time of use by contacting the owner. Horseback riding at neighboring farm. Rafting is 50 minutes away. Skyline drive is 35 minutes away. Barboursville, Horton & Keswick vineyards within 20 minute drive. Other things to note You must schedule your time using the Hot Tub Patio by contacting the owner. 90 minutes per day you have booked. Ping pong, pool table, bikes and other games are in the shared Game Barn that is near the Pond House. Swing set and rope swings are near the entrance to the woodland trails that are to the left of the Pond House.
