Welcome to our quaint 1932 Bissman Cottage! Adorable carthage stone cottage adjacent to historic downtown Springfield and popular Rountree neighborhood. Located a few blocks from JQH Arena, Missouri State, Drury, Evangel, Springfield Cardinals Hammons field, Juanita K Hammons Performing Arts, Mercy Hospital, Wonders of Wildlife, Bass Pro Shops and the Vibrant and Historic downtown walking distance to Tie & Timber Brewery around the corner on Cherry! Tesla EV charging in garage for minimal fee❣️ The space This property is charming, cozy, quaint and absolutely perfectly cared for delicately LOVED! Many have requested to be able to sleep 8 adults rather than 6. So, there is now an additional Queen size Bed in the basement for groups of 8. There will be an additional $25.00 per night fee for the use of that sleeping space per night and a $25.00 fee per night for each guest over 6 with a maximum of 8 guests per night. The extra sleeping space space is shared with the basement Laundry area but is heated and cooled with a 3/4 bath at the top of the stairs. If you do not wish to use the additional sleeping space the home normally sleeps 6 except for babies and toddlers. For your enjoyment, we have provided 4 adult bicycles. There is only one shared bike lock inside of our 2 car garage with opener for our guests to park in. We do share a driveway with the neighbor to the left therefore please be courteous and do not block their ingress or egress. The garage is for parking. Please, NO Smoking allowed. Guest access Please enter from the back side door closest to the two car garage. There is a patio with a barbecue grill with tables and chairs for your enjoyment. cushions for outdoor table chairs are in the garage on the work bench. You may want to sit out in front of the house and listen to the waterfall on the bench located near the front porch. You may enjoy using the complimentary bicycles in the garage to ride down the street to the new Tie & Timber Brewery, Imo's pizza or many other close by stores and eateries. (Please lock bikes together at all times while not riding when out and about.) Guests park inside the garage, in front of garage or on the street. No driveway parking! Shared driveway with neighbor to the left. Garage door has a keypad. Code will be the same as the Cottage door. Desk is provided as a work space with high speed internet and the wi-fi password code is on the side of the refrigerator. Again, Please stay to the right of the driveway as neighbor to the left shares a driveway with us. I ask you Park inside the garage or in front of the garage only. Guests are also allowed to park on the street. Other things to note Check in is after 4:00pm. Check out is before 10:00 am. if you need early check in please contact owner. Please enter and exit from the residence using the back screen door area. There is a keyless lock on that door with a combination that I will provide. There is a cleaning fee of $200.00 for each visit to wash and change bedding, linens and clean house for our next guests. Complementary coffee, tea, Wi-Fi, TV, DVD and stereo.
