Our home sits on a secluded hilltop across from pristine Pleasant Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in New Hampshire in the town of New London, quaint shops, eateries. We provide two kayaks and a canoe which are kept at our lakefront access, a short walk or drive from house. All gear in mudroom.The beach is a few min. drive down the road and is beautiful with a life guard, picnic tables. Lake Sunapee ski resort is noted for it's snowmaking and picturesque views of the lake, only 25 min. away. The space Our charming home sits on five serene acres. It is so amazing to not see any houses, just trees, and only hear nature and the loons on Pleasant Lake Large deck with gas grill is perfect for entertaining and seeking calm. In Autumn when leaves begin to fall, lake can be seen and is quite beautiful. The main area has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a wall of french doors off deck provides lots of light and viewing of nature. Over 50mb of secure wifi, printer, so working from this space is excellent! Roku TVs in every room provide a multitude of channel viewing. Our large mudroom is perfect for storing your ski/snowboard equipment. Private 1st floor bedroom is spacious with laundry area and half bath. New mattresses on beds, very comfortable. All that you need is provided, and any requests are welcome. AC window units are installed during the Summer in Bedroom #1 and the Kitchen/Dining/Living room area. Other things to note If you seek serenity and adventure, you have found it! We have shared private lake access with with two kayaks and a canoe, guest permit to beach, public boat launch near. Several State Parks and Hiking trails abound. Mt. Sunapee offers a summer adventure park and fantastic skiing in the winter. Winter activities ~ ice skating, snow mobiling, snowshoeing the great trail system.
